Blessed with the gift of flight, birds and butterflies are some of the most beautiful, colourful creatures on our planet. This collection of colour-by-number images celebrates the variety of these wonderful species, from familiar garden songbirds to elusive jungle butterflies. Each image is numbered so that, by following the key, you can add colour and build up an accurate depiction of each species.

Well thought out but where are the names?

A well thought out book with each page left blank on the back, so only about 64 pictures but this avoids 'bleeding' through. The paper is of reasonable quality. The colours can be adjusted to be less brash and more realistic. There is a good variety of picture, some being much more complicated than others. The colour chart at the back folds out so that it is always visible.
My only criticism is that nothing is named! Nearly all the pictures are shown as thumbnails on the inside of the front and back covers; it would have been so easy to add the common names at least.
